Christie Reiser is a bathymetry data manager for the Data Centre for Digital Bathymetry (DCDB) at NOAA. She has a bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University. Christie has extensive experience in scientific reporting for the private sector as well as science communication for NASA. Christie is also the editor of the GEBCO Cookbook, a technical reference manual. She is passionate about seafloor mapping, inspired by her seven-year tenure spent offshore collecting and processing multibeam data. Christie is also an active member of the Seabed 2030 community, GEBCO, and many other inter-agency working groups.
