This session will focus on everyone’s favorite topic: metadata. Proper documentation is a critical step for FAIR access to NOAA’s data holdings. This session will focus on tools that are currently available for authoring metadata and strategies for improving and updating metadata. We especially welcome new ideas: using AI to partially automate documentation, solutions for data dictionaries, ontologies to harmonize parameter names across datasets, etc.
